On-Site Interpreting (OSI) Opportunity

Prisma International, Inc. is seeking an On-Site Interpreter (OSI) for our Seattle, Washington office. This role will provide critical language support for diverse clients in various settings.

Position Summary

• To serve as a vital interpreter for clients requiring language support in on-site settings such as meetings, events, and legal proceedings.
• To ensure accurate and confidential translation of spoken language, ensuring effective communication between parties.
• To maintain professional conduct and confidentiality regarding all client interactions and information.
• To adapt to various interpreting environments and handle a wide range of languages as needed.

What You'll Do

• Provide accurate and timely interpretation services in a variety of on-site settings.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure smooth communication and understanding.
• Prepare for interpreting assignments by researching and familiarizing oneself with relevant topics and terminology.
• Adhere to strict confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions.

Qualifications

• Native fluency in English and at least one additional language required.
• Professional interpreting certification or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Experience in legal, medical, or corporate interpreting environments is a plus.
