You'll be both a technical expert and trusted advisor, working collaboratively with utility teams to design systems that drive long-term resilience and performance.
What You'll Do
- Lead consulting projects for municipal water and wastewater utilities, from scoping through implementation and results delivery
- Conduct asset audits, data assessments, and process evaluations to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Develop asset management strategies, policies, and protocols tailored to client needs and industry best practices
- Build and mentor client teams, ensuring smooth adoption of new workflows and systems
- Manage budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications across multiple concurrent engagements
- Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities and strengthening client relationships
- Present findings and recommendations to utility leadership, boards, and funding agencies
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in asset management, municipal utilities, water/wastewater operations, or related consulting
- Demonstrated expertise in asset inventory systems, maintenance planning, capital forecasting, and lifecycle management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data quality and design improvements
- Project management experience with proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver within scope and budget
- Excellent communication skills—comfortable presenting to both technical staff and executive stakeholders
- Professional license (PE, PMP, or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
