About the Role
As an Emergency Room Nurse at our Cromwell facility, you'll be at the forefront of acute patient care, responding to urgent medical needs and working in a dynamic, high-energy environment. You'll collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to stabilize patients, manage acute conditions, and provide compassionate care during critical moments. This role demands clinical judgment, quick decision-making, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
What You'll Do
- Conduct rapid patient assessments, including vital signs, symptom evaluation, and comprehensive health histories
- Perform triage to prioritize patients based on clinical urgency and acuity
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Monitor patients continuously, observe changes in condition, and report findings to physicians
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform emergency interventions as directed
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families during stressful situations
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards

- Current RN licensure in Oklahoma
- Demonstrated experience in emergency nursing or acute care settings
