About the Role
The Senior Director of Data Center Operational Deployment directs the comprehensive lifecycle of bringing new data center facilities online. You'll manage complex, interdependent systems from MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) infrastructure through the energization and optimization of high-density computing environments, including advanced GPU and rack architectures. Working across teams of engineers, contractors, vendors, and facility experts, you'll ensure seamless coordination between technical and operational priorities while maintaining rigorous standards for quality, safety, and timeline delivery.
What You'll Do
- Orchestrate end-to-end data center deployment from site preparation through full operational capacity
- Oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems installation, testing, and commissioning to specification
- Direct high-density computing infrastructure energization, including GPU environments and advanced rack deployment
- Coordinate cross-functional and vendor teams to maintain project schedules while meeting quality and safety standards
- Establish operational protocols, monitoring systems, and performance benchmarks for new facilities
- Manage executive and stakeholder communication across technical, operational, and vendor leadership
What We're Looking For
- Executive experience in data center operations, infrastructure deployment, or large-scale facility management
- Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams through complex, time-sensitive operational initiatives
