About this role & career path

Director-level EHS roles usually span multi-site strategy, regulatory accountability, and culture-building—bridging plant operations, contractors, and corporate risk standards rather than day-to-day technician work alone.

Build the skills for this role

Strengthen multi-site EHS program design, incident investigation, environmental permitting awareness, contractor safety, and clear communication with operations leaders. No certification resources were supplied for this listing.

  • How you scaled EHS standards across plants or contractor networks
  • Examples reducing serious injury/illness and environmental noncompliance
  • How you partner with production when safety and throughput conflict

Strong fit if you lead EHS in manufacturing or construction-adjacent settings, can own compliance and culture at director scope, and are comfortable in Augusta, Maine (on-site; not remote).
