About the Role

As a Graduate Nurse in this PCU E3 position, you'll deliver direct patient care in a supportive, collaborative clinical environment. Working full-time on an every-other-weekend rotation with rotating holiday assignments, you'll gain hands-on experience managing progressive care patients, building clinical judgment, and practicing under the guidance of experienced preceptors and nursing leaders.

What You'll Do

• Perform focused patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and communicate changes in clinical status to the care team
• Administer medications, manage intravenous therapy, and provide wound care according to established protocols
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in the electronic health record system
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, and nursing colleagues to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, medications, and recovery process
• Maintain adherence to safety standards, infection prevention practices, and quality measures
• Contribute to a team-oriented culture centered on compassionate, evidence-based patient care

What We're Looking For

• Current Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain licensure
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and communication abilities
• Ability to prioritize and manage patient assignments in a progressive care environment
• Genuine commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
