Registered Nurse – Graduate Nurse (RN, GN) – Oncology A2

About the Role

As an RN or GN on our Oncology A2 team, you'll deliver evidence-based patient care during some of your patients' most vulnerable moments. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team that combines clinical excellence with genuine compassion, supporting individuals and families navigating cancer treatment.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care to oncology patients, including medication administration, chemotherapy support, and symptom management
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and report changes to the care team promptly
• Administer treatments per physician orders and established protocols, including chemotherapy under appropriate supervision
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, side effect management, and self-care strategies
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records and documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, oncologists, social workers, and palliative care specialists to coordinate holistic patient care
• Support patients' emotional and psychosocial needs with empathy and professionalism
• Contribute to a culture of safety, quality improvement, and professional development

What We're Looking For

• Valid Connecticut RN license or Graduate Nurse permit (GN pursuing RN licensure)
• Completion of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work compassionately in a fast-paced, complex healthcare setting
• Commitment to patient safety, dignity, and person-centered care
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally in oncology nursing
