A Facility in Oregon Seeks a Locums Interventional Cardiologist

Weatherby Healthcare is partnering with a hospital facility in Medford, Oregon to place a full-time Locums Interventional Cardiologist who is ready to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care in a dynamic inpatient environment.

About the Role

This locum tenens Interventional Cardiology position places you inside a busy hospital setting in southern Oregon, managing a meaningful daily caseload with structured shift hours and on-call responsibilities. What You'll Do

• Provide direct inpatient care for 6 to 10 patients per shift during standard daytime hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Fulfill overnight and weekend call coverage as part of the rotation schedule
• Conduct telephone consultations and manage direct patient care interactions
• Perform interventional cardiology procedures within the inpatient hospital setting
• Collaborate with hospital staff, nursing teams, and other specialists to coordinate patient management
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards

What We're Looking For

• Board certification or board eligibility in Interventional Cardiology
• Active, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility to obtain Oregon licensure)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated experience performing interventional cardiac procedures in a hospital or acute care setting
• Availability to commit to a minimum of 7 shifts per month
• Strong communication skills for phone consultations and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Comfort working within a locum tenens assignment structure
