Working Student – IT Support & Systems

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential quantum technology organization based in the Munich area. We are seeking a Working Student for IT Support & Systems to serve as the first point of contact for colleagues requiring IT assistance.

In this role, you will:

• Provide 1st level IT support for employees and troubleshoot common hardware, software, and access issues
• Support hardware procurement by ordering, tracking, and preparing laptops, monitors, and accessories
• Manage the equipment lifecycle from setup for new starters to collection and reset for departing employees
• Support IT onboarding and offboarding processes, including accounts, access, devices, and welcome setup
• Handle day-to-day Microsoft 365 tasks such as mailboxes, distribution lists, and Teams/SharePoint access
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT documentation including guides, inventory lists, and onboarding checklists
• Collaborate with IT colleagues on more complex issues and escalate when needed

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an IT-related degree program such as Computer Science or Information Systems (any semester)
• Genuine interest in IT systems and infrastructure
• Basic computer literacy with Windows or macOS and solid troubleshooting instincts
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and ask questions when clarification is needed
• Reliable and organized with clear communication skills, especially when assisting colleagues without technical backgrounds

Preferred experience:

• Hobby-level experience with Windows or macOS troubleshooting, home networking, or similar
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools such as Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams
• Interest in growing into a junior or full System Administrator role over time

• Detail-oriented, especially with equipment tracking and onboarding steps
