Responsibilities
Our talent team is representing a confidential engineering software organization in Germany seeking a working student to support their simulation and application engineering team. In this role, you'll contribute to real-world simulation projects and gain hands-on experience with modern CAE processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting simulation projects for polymer injection molding processes, including preparation, execution, and analysis of simulations
- Assisting with internal simulation projects and customer-facing technical services
- Conducting benchmark simulations and documenting results
- Contributing to the development of training materials and educational content, including online academy materials, tutorials, and technical documentation
- Supporting technical customer inquiries by preparing information, tracking requests, and developing solution approaches
- Analyzing and interpreting simulation data to support engineering decisions
What We're Looking For
Our client is seeking a currently enrolled student in mechanical engineering, polymer engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field. The ideal candidate brings:
- Technical aptitude and genuine interest in simulation and injection molding technology
- Structured, independent, and reliable working style
- Strong German and English language skills
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Preferred: initial experience with CAD or simulation software
- Preferred: exposure to AI tools or coding agents such as ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot
