Werkstudent im Bereich Legal / Compliance (d/m/w)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a working student to support legal and compliance functions. You will assist in implementing regulatory requirements and communicating with supervisory authorities. Your work will involve applying existing legal frameworks related to digital securities, anti-money laundering, and financial regulation while supporting product development within these parameters.

In daily operations, you will work directly with compliance and risk officers, preparing matters for decision-making, tracking deadlines, and maintaining follow-up processes. You will create templates for internal reporting to stakeholders, maintain key performance indicators and evaluations, keep policies and procedures current, and support annual audits and special examinations.

What We're Looking For

• Enthusiasm for technology, particularly distributed ledger technology and blockchain applications in financial systems
• Interest in capital markets regulatory questions
• Attention to detail and reliability with deadlines
• Ability to document complex matters clearly and concisely
• Discretion when handling confidential client and company data
• Fluent German required for regulatory correspondence and reporting
• English skills beneficial for international correspondence and interpreting legal texts
• Complete prior knowledge of digital securities regulations not expected, as this legal framework is recent and continuously evolving
