About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential industrial manufacturing organization in the Osnabrück region. Our client operates a major production facility with several hundred employees, specializing in components and system solutions for demanding industrial applications including automotive customers. We are searching for an experienced Plant HR Manager to lead all human resources functions at this technically-focused site.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for HR operations at the facility and management of strategic and operational personnel processes
• Strategic advisory role to site leadership and management on all people-related matters
• Ownership of workforce planning, organizational development, talent management, and succession planning
• Supporting change processes, restructuring initiatives, and site development measures
• Constructive collaboration and negotiation with works councils and employee representation bodies
• Implementation and management of collective agreements and company policies
• Ensuring compliance with German labor law, collective bargaining agreements, and social insurance regulations
• Advising managers on employment law and workforce management issues
• Driving continuous improvement of HR processes and structures to support modern, forward-thinking people practices
• Management of HR budget, reporting, and key metrics

What We're Looking For

• Completed business degree with focus on human resources, or equivalent qualification with relevant HR certification
• Several years of solid experience in operational and strategic HR, ideally within a technical manufacturing environment
• Experience in an HR leadership role or as deputy HR leader, with readiness to step into full site-level responsibility
• Strong knowledge of German labor law, collective bargaining law, and co-determination structures
• Proven experience working with and negotiating with works councils on collective matters
• Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset combined with strong advisory and implementation skills
• Confident presence, negotiation ability, assertiveness, and well-developed interpersonal competence
• Structured, solution-oriented, and pragmatic working style
• Excellent German and English language skills, written and spoken
