VP, Data Strategy

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential global media organization seeking a VP of Data Strategy to drive transformative growth for enterprise clients. In this senior role, you will leverage data, technology, and AI to unlock incremental value from media investments and translate complex capabilities into innovative commercial solutions.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing advanced data strategies that leverage proprietary platforms, partner technologies, and client data assets to deliver measurable business outcomes
• Leading global data and technology transformation roadmaps aligned with client objectives, championing audience-first approaches using first-party, second-party, and third-party data
• Building trusted advisor relationships with C-suite marketing and data leaders, translating business objectives into actionable data strategies
• Influencing the design and customization of proprietary data platforms and technology solutions, pioneering new use cases and managing deployment across global accounts
• Identifying opportunities to enrich audience segments through data partnerships and signal augmentation to improve targeting and addressability
• Leading and mentoring a high-performing network of data strategy professionals across multiple markets, fostering collaboration and communicating best practices
• Orchestrating cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated data and technology offerings that drive intelligent growth
• Partnering with commercial teams on pricing and proposals for complex data solutions, leading efforts for new business pitches
• Acting as an industry thought leader on data-driven marketing advancements and maintaining deep expertise in emerging technologies

What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications:

• Proven experience designing and deploying global data strategies for media and advertising with large multinational brands
• Deep expertise in the AdTech/MarTech ecosystem including Data Clean Rooms, DSPs, CDPs, analytics platforms, AI tools, and advanced measurement methodologies (MMM, MTA, Sales Lift)
• Ability to consult on product customization and translate proprietary capabilities for client implementation
• Strategic vision with exceptional executive presence and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders from C-suite to implementation teams
• Change management expertise with proven ability to drive organizational transformation and build consensus across agencies, markets, and leadership levels
• Track record of delivering results within large multi-market teams in fast-paced environments
• Solutions-focused leadership with strong accountability and willingness to engage deeply with teams
• Right to work in the United Kingdom

Preferred qualifications:

• Ability to travel frequently on short notice and work flexible hours to support globally distributed teams
• Experience working effectively in matrix organizational structures
