Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking a strategic Vendor and Financial Operations Manager. This dual-role position combines vendor relationship oversight with financial planning and analysis responsibilities, requiring a professional who can bridge operational excellence with fiscal accountability.

This is a fully remote position available to candidates located anywhere in the United States. Please note that employment-based visa sponsorship is not available for this role, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual operating plan (AOP) development, monthly budgeting, and reforecast cycles for assigned functional areas
• Integrate actual financial results into planning systems and ensure alignment with accounting standards and organizational policies
• Analyze monthly budget variances, identify key cost drivers, and deliver actionable insights to leadership
• Manage invoice validation, accruals, and vendor payment processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Serve as primary relationship manager for assigned vendors, monitoring contractual compliance and performance metrics
• Develop and maintain vendor scorecards, SLA dashboards, and corrective action plans
• Partner with procurement teams on RFP development, bid evaluation, and vendor selection processes
• Conduct regular vendor review meetings to assess operational performance, cost effectiveness, and strategic alignment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including medical management, provider services, finance, and operations to ensure vendor deliverables meet quality standards
• Prepare executive-level financial summaries, trend analyses, and recommendations for decision-making
• Lead process improvement initiatives that optimize vendor performance and reduce costs
• Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives with strategic and financial impact

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or FP&A roles supporting business operations
• 5+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or operations management
• Healthcare or managed care industry experience strongly preferred
• Proven track record presenting to executive leadership
• Experience managing RFP or sourcing processes preferred
• CPA certification preferred
• Proficiency with budgeting and planning platforms (such as Cognos or Hyperion)
• Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear insights
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (no H-1B, L-1, O-1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT sponsorship available)

Pay

The client has indicated a compensation range of $87,700 - $157,800 per year. Final pay will be determined based on skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors. Our client offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off.
