GIS Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential geospatial technology organization seeking a GIS Specialist to join their customer operations team. This fully remote role is based in the Philippines and focuses on managing customer orders for satellite imagery and geospatial data products.

In this position, you'll coordinate project requests from submission through delivery, communicate with customers via email, and work with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful outcomes. This is an independent contract role supporting European operations with specific scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders and project requests for satellite imagery and geospatial data from submission through final delivery
• Communicate with customers via email and provide timely status updates on their requests
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are completed successfully
• Track multiple customer projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and exceptional attention to detail
• Investigate issues, gather information, and help identify optimal solutions for customers
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all customer requests
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and operational efficiency
• Ensure every customer interaction is handled professionally with a strong focus on satisfaction

• Windows 11 PC with 16 GB RAM (Mac not supported)
• Dual monitors, webcam, and USB headset
• i5 processor or higher
• Fibre internet with wired Ethernet connection
• Backup power solution
• Microsoft Teams / Office 365

Schedule Requirements: This role supports European operations. The proposed starting schedule is Tuesday to Saturday: 1:00 AM to 10:00 AM CET, and Sunday, Monday, and Public Holidays: 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM CET. Scheduling requirements may evolve based on operational needs, and flexibility is required.

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $6 - $7 USD per hour, depending on experience. This is a fully remote independent contract position paid weekly in arrears, available to candidates in the Philippines only.
