Technical Product Lead – AI Stockbroking

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization building next-generation financial products across Southeast Asia. Our client is seeking a Technical Product Lead to own a complete product vertical within their AI-powered financial platform. This is a remote role working with a distributed international team.

This position requires deep technical product expertise in regulated financial domains. You'll be responsible for end-to-end ownership from strategy through launch, working at the intersection of complex systems, regulatory requirements, and AI capabilities. The products you'll lead move real money—reliability, compliance, and third-party integrations are fundamental, not optional.

Responsibilities

• Own a product vertical end-to-end including strategy, metrics, roadmap, priorities, and delivery
• Shape technical design with engineering teams across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability
• Drive critical trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements, and user experience
• Build regulatory compliance into the product across KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing requirements
• Apply AI strategically where it genuinely improves outcomes, with clear evaluation frameworks, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling
• Navigate external dependencies including regulatory approvals, financial infrastructure, and third-party partnerships
• Align cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance around product decisions and launch requirements

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of complex technical products from strategy through production
• Strong technical foundation across system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems
• Proven ability to work closely with engineers, review technical designs, and contribute meaningfully to architecture discussions
• Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or another regulated, high-consequence product domain
• Strong product judgment and ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation, reliability frameworks, and understanding when deterministic systems must remain in control
• Strong English communication skills for working in a global, distributed team

Preferred qualifications:

• Engineering background or highly technical product experience
• Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer financial products
• Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
