Audio Engineer – Fully Remote | Upto $54/hr

We are representing a confidential AI research organization seeking an Audio Engineer for a fully remote contract role. Our client is working at the cutting edge of AI-generated music technology and needs skilled professionals to evaluate and improve their models. This is an excellent opportunity to work with innovative technology while leveraging your production expertise.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated music across multiple dimensions including musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality
• Label and categorize songs by genre, structure, instrumentation, vocals, and other musical characteristics
• Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material to assess quality and accuracy
• Work independently and asynchronously while meeting flexible project deadlines
• Collaborate with technical teams to enhance AI model performance and output quality

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Native or near-native proficiency in French
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English
• 2+ years of professional experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer
• Professional-grade headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening work

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition
• Credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work
• Broad familiarity with contemporary French music genres, sub-genres, and artists

Position Details:

• Contract position, up to 6 months duration
• 20+ hours per week commitment
• Fully remote
• Immediate start available
