About the Role

As an OTR truck driver with U.S. Xpress, you'll operate dry van freight across the continental United States. This is full-time, over-the-road work with a predictable schedule that balances road time with home time. What You'll Do

  • Operate a company-supplied tractor, hauling dry van freight on interstate routes
  • Maintain DOT compliance and safety standards on every load

  • Follow a consistent work schedule: 12 days on the road, 2 days at home
  • Deliver loads safely and on time to dispatch requirements

What We're Looking For

Compensation & Benefits

Solo drivers earn 46–60 cents per mile, with a guaranteed weekly minimum of $1,400 and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Experienced drivers in our top 20% average $1,525 weekly. Team drivers receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus and earn $0.72–$0.80 per mile split. Our drivers typically log 2,000–5,000 miles per week depending on assignment, with annual earnings averaging around $78,000.
