Travel Sales Representative

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential travel and hospitality organization in a fully remote Travel Sales Representative search. This is an inbound sales role for candidates residing in Florida, Georgia, or South Carolina who are passionate about creating exceptional vacation experiences while meeting performance goals.

As the recruiter managing this search, we're looking for someone who thrives in a virtual environment, loves helping customers plan travel, and has a track record of converting service interactions into sales.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls from customers ready to book vacation travel including car rentals, airfare, hotels, cruises, and local experiences
• Guide customers through the complete booking process with a consultative sales approach
• Build rapport and recommend personalized travel solutions aligned to each customer's lifestyle and preferences
• Manage multiple technology applications simultaneously including CRM, booking tools, and payment systems
• Conduct outbound follow-up to strengthen customer relationships and close additional sales
• Meet monthly sales performance targets and quality standards

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum six months of customer service experience
• Minimum six months of sales experience with demonstrated results
• Six months of travel industry experience preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to quickly establish customer rapport
• Excellent multitasking abilities and composure under pressure
• Intermediate computer proficiency and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
• Familiarity with travel booking systems (Amadeus, Apollo, Sabre, Worldspan) helpful but not required
• Must reside in Florida, Georgia, or South Carolina
• Availability for 5-week training: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
• Post-training availability: Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM EST with set schedule
• Ability to work select holidays

Work-from-Home Requirements:

• Quiet workspace free from distractions and background noise
• High-speed internet: 20 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload, average ping below 100ms
• Ability to hardwire computer directly to router
• Personal device with working camera for first week of training

Pay

This role offers $17.50 per hour plus monthly sales incentives based on performance.
