As a Travel PTA, you'll support licensed physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care while gaining valuable clinical experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.
What You'll Do
- Assist physical therapists in delivering treatment plans and therapeutic interventions to patients
- Guide patients through prescribed exercises, stretching routines, and functional mobility activities
- Observe and document patient responses to treatment and progress toward therapy goals
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and provide encouragement during recovery
- Prepare and maintain treatment spaces, equipment, and patient materials
- Support the clinical team while maintaining professional, compassionate patient interactions
What We're Looking For
- Valid California Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license
- Clinical experience in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or rehabilitation services
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Physical capability to assist patients with transfers, positioning, and therapeutic activities

Position Details
