About the Role
Join Triage Staffing LLC's travel therapy program in Newington, Hartford County, as a full-time Physical Therapist. This 15-week contract offers day shift hours—40 hours per week across 5 days—in a collaborative rehabilitation setting. You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary team committed to helping patients regain independence and improve functional outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to restore mobility and functional independence
- Document clinical assessments, treatment progress, and patient outcomes with accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists to optimize care coordination
- Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatment protocols based on clinical progress
- Educate patients and families on exercise routines, proper body mechanics, and home management strategies
What We're Looking For
- Physical Therapist (PT) license, current and valid in Connecticut
- Hands-on experience in rehabilitation, acute care, or clinical patient treatment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and healthcare teams
- Adaptability and ability to quickly integrate into new facility systems and workflows
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered physical therapy practice
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain before your start date
