Aya Healthcare is actively recruiting a Pathology Assistant for our Mansfield, Richland County location. You'll deliver critical laboratory support in a dynamic healthcare environment, working rotating 5-day, 8-hour shifts that begin July 27, 2026. What You'll Do
- Assist pathologists with specimen collection, handling, and preparation for diagnostic analysis
- Perform routine laboratory procedures with precision and adherence to clinical protocols
- Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of pathology samples and test results
- Support autopsy and biopsy procedures when required
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Ensure consistent compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and laboratory safety regulations
- Collaborate with pathologists, technicians, and clinical staff to meet diagnostic timelines
What We're Looking For
- Pathology Assistant certification or equivalent laboratory experience in a hospital setting
