Travel Nurse RN – PCU – Progressive Care Unit

About the Role

This travel nursing assignment places you in a Progressive Care Unit where you'll provide intermediate-level acute care to patients transitioning between intensive and standard care. Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient vital signs, clinical status, and response to treatment
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies per physician orders and protocols

• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge planning
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and nursing documentation

Skills & Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Colorado
• Minimum experience in acute care nursing (PCU, telemetry, or intensive care preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage patient assignments effectively
• Flexibility, adaptability, and commitment to quality patient care
• Valid malpractice insurance or ability to obtain it
