Responsibilities

• Support lead teachers in planning and delivering age-appropriate learning activities and play-based experiences
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that complies with all child care licensing guidelines and Learning Care Group standards
• Assist with daily routines including meals, transitions, and rest time while ensuring every child feels supported and valued
• Observe children's development, document milestones, and communicate progress with families
• Foster positive social interactions and guide children toward respectful, cooperative behaviors
• Prepare and maintain learning materials, support classroom organization, and assist with special activities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and commitment to their wellbeing and development
• Ability to consistently follow child care licensing requirements and company policies
• Strong communication skills with children, families, and team members
• Physical ability to remain active, bend, and lift throughout the day
• A positive attitude and genuine willingness to collaborate in a team environment
• Experience in child care, early education, or mentoring is valued
