Role Overview

As a Travel Cath Lab Tech supporting facilities across Port Saint Lucie and greater St. Lucie County, you will work daytime 10-hour shifts scheduled four days per week (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) for a total of 40 hours. The 13-week contract centers on cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures, giving you the chance to bring specialized skills to a high-volume Florida setting while enjoying the consistency of a full-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the catheterization laboratory, equipment, and sterile fields ahead of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and related interventions by scrubbing, circulating, and ensuring seamless workflow.
• Monitor patient vital signs, ECG, and hemodynamic data continuously, promptly alerting the team to any changes.
• Operate and maintain imaging systems, injectors, and monitoring devices according to facility protocols and safety standards.
• Document procedure details accurately, restock inventory, and participate in room turnover to keep the lab ready for subsequent cases.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to prioritize patient safety and efficient care delivery throughout each shift.

Skills & Qualifications

• Current registry or certification appropriate for a Cath Lab Tech (such as ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent state credentials) and active BLS/ACLS.
• Proven hands-on experience in a cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology environment.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic and hemodynamic monitoring equipment plus sterile technique.
• Ability to work independently on a travel assignment while adapting quickly to new facility systems and teams.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and the physical stamina required for long cases standing in the lab.
• Willingness to complete a full-time 13-week contract beginning 7/13/2026 in Port Saint Lucie, St. Lucie County.
