About the Role
As a Safety Support Associate, you'll be responsible for maintaining a secure, welcoming environment at our interim housing facility. You'll observe conditions throughout the site, respond to concerns as they arise, and work collaboratively with case management and security teams to ensure the safety and dignity of all residents, staff, and visitors.
What You'll Do
- Monitor the interim housing facility and grounds regularly, identifying and reporting any safety concerns or maintenance issues
- Engage with residents to build trust and encourage their active participation in maintaining a safe community
- Employ de-escalation techniques and provide immediate support when conflicts or crisis situations occur
- Partner with our on-site case management team to address resident needs and safety challenges
- Communicate and coordinate with contracted security providers to strengthen site security measures
- Document observations, incidents, and actions in a clear, timely manner

Mandatory Requirements:
- Current or obtainable CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
- Proof of vehicle insurance and ownership for personal use vehicles
- Ability to qualify for PATH's insurance coverage
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Willingness to complete a tuberculosis test, background screening, and drug test as conditions of employment

Compensation and Benefits
This full-time position offers competitive pay ranging from $21.00 to $26.00 per hour, based on experience. Multiple shift options are available.
