About the Role
As a Tour Guide at Wynd, you'll become an ambassador for Windsor Sales, welcoming visitors and introducing them to the region's most compelling attractions, historical landmarks, and cultural gems. You'll spend your days outdoors and at key local venues, sharing curated stories and insider knowledge that transform a simple visit into a memorable experience. This role requires you to be organized, engaging, and genuinely interested in helping others discover what makes Windsor Sales unique. You'll work full-time, building relationships with repeat visitors and contributing to Wynd's reputation for delivering authentic, high-quality tour experiences.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct guided tours throughout Windsor Sales, following established routes and highlighting key attractions
- Deliver engaging, accurate commentary on the history, culture, and significance of local landmarks
- Welcome and orient visitors, addressing questions and customizing the experience based on guest interests
- Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for all tour participants during outings
- Manage tour timing, logistics, and any necessary equipment or materials
- Gather visitor feedback and suggest improvements to enhance future tours
- Represent Wynd professionally and enthusiastically in all guest interactions
Who We're Looking For
- Genuine enthusiasm for Windsor Sales, its history, attractions, and local community
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable speaking to groups
- Ability to engage people of all ages and backgrounds in a respectful, inclusive manner
- Reliability, punctuality, and a professional, positive attitude
- Physical stamina for extended walking and standing during tours
- Flexibility to work full-time hours, including weekends and peak seasons
- Basic organizational and time-management skills
