Technischer Redakteur Ersatzteildokumentation (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential engineering organization in Munich seeking a Technical Documentation Specialist for spare parts documentation. In this role, you will:

• Create and update spare parts documentation and associated datasets
• Analyze technical documents, drawings, and parts lists, preparing them for documentation purposes
• Develop technical illustrations and verify documentation for completeness and quality
• Process change requests and ensure technical documents remain current
• Coordinate documentation projects and collaborate closely with customers, service providers, and internal departments

What We're Looking For

Our client requires candidates with the following qualifications:

• Degree in Technical Documentation, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or completion of automotive mechatronics training, automotive technology training, or Master Craftsman certification in vehicle technology with relevant additional qualifications
• Professional experience as a technical writer, technical documentation specialist, technical product designer, or documentation manager is ideal
• Strong technical understanding and proven experience in technical documentation
• Proficiency with documentation and illustration tools; experience with 3D data is advantageous
• Structured work approach with quality awareness
• Excellent written and spoken German; good English language skills required
