Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential food manufacturing organization in Starnberg for a Product Manager position focused on food products and private label brands. In this role, you will analyze market and consumer trends to develop new product ideas and marketing concepts for both branded and private label food products.

You will manage product projects in the food sector, coordinating implementation of new products with product development and production teams. Your responsibilities include developing sales promotion measures and creating presentation and sales materials to support successful product marketing.

Additionally, you will prepare sales and revenue forecasts, manage external agencies with budget responsibility, and support the sales team during customer meetings. You will represent product management at field service meetings and trade shows, working closely with sales, product development, and production departments.

What We're Looking For

You hold a completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing, Marketing Management, or a comparable field in business economics.

You bring several years of experience as a Product Manager in the food or FMCG sector, or as a Brand Manager in FMCG, ideally with exposure to both branded and private label products. Strong foundational knowledge in product management for food or fast-moving consumer goods is essential.

You possess very good MS Office skills, good English language proficiency, and solid understanding of market analysis, sales planning, and sales-oriented marketing. We value initiative, strong communication and persuasion abilities, and a self-directed, results-oriented, and pragmatic working style.
