About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential mobility services organization seeking a Squad Lead – Mobile Mechanics to join their operations team in Bobigny, Île-de-France. Our client is dedicated to delivering exceptional service quality through skilled technical teams who ensure customers remain on the road with minimal downtime.

This leadership role oversees a team of mobile mechanics (junior and senior levels) responsible for bicycle maintenance and repairs. You will play a critical part in maintaining operational standards, developing team capabilities, and ensuring seamless coordination across field operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of mobile mechanics, setting clear performance expectations and monitoring results to meet quality and productivity objectives
• Lead onboarding and training for new team members, including ramp-up processes, performance tracking, and alignment with organizational standards
• Supervise individual and collective performance, providing constructive feedback through regular field observation sessions
• Foster professional growth by identifying team strengths and developing skills in line with organizational needs
• Coordinate daily field operations team activities (shifts), ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with quality norms and standardization of field operations (departure/arrival procedures, field tasks, etc.)
• Support Shift Leads by providing necessary resources to guarantee smooth field operations
• Implement new operational procedures in collaboration with other departments
• Manage the vehicle fleet and ensure adherence to safety and driving regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve overall operational performance

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing technical teams, including setting objectives and monitoring performance
• Strong knowledge of bicycle mechanics
• Excellent cross-team collaboration skills to facilitate implementation of new operational procedures
• Expertise in field processes, including fleet management, safety compliance, and operational problem-solving with logistics and technical teams
• Training and development skills, with responsibility for onboarding new members and supporting their progression aligned with organizational goals
• Fluency in French required for this France-based position
