Technical Account Manager

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential data infrastructure organization seeking a Technical Account Manager to lead professional services engagements from architecture through delivery. This role combines technical expertise with project leadership.

You will be responsible for:

• Contributing to proposals and statements of work for client engagements
• Supporting implementation and consulting services delivery to meet solution design requirements
• Providing comprehensive project guidance including project plans, schedules, communication plans, resource planning, and status updates
• Assessing and designing data protection and availability solutions, as well as resolving post-installation issues
• Estimating implementation effort for solution deployments
• Creating white papers, solution guides, best practices documentation, and custom technical content
• Delivering onsite knowledge transfer sessions to clients
• Documenting configurations and completed implementation activities
• Analyzing installed environments and recommending optimal configurations
• Facilitating communication between clients and technical support teams
• Identifying additional client needs that can be addressed through technical solutions
• Providing input for process and documentation improvements
• Traveling for overnight business stays to meet project objectives

What We're Looking For

Our talent team is seeking a candidate with deep technical expertise across virtualization, storage, and data protection technologies combined with proven project management capabilities.

Required qualifications:

• VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Prince 2, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent project management experience
• Bachelor's degree in technology (combination of education and experience will be considered)
• Hands-on experience with enterprise data protection solutions
• Proven consulting and project management experience
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Significant experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
• Experience with modern storage systems and technologies
• Hands-on experience with networking protocols and equipment including Fibre Channel, Ethernet, and cloud services
• Experience with traditional storage and backup architectures (EMC, NetApp, IBM, HP/3PAR, Hitachi, Dell, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with enterprise applications including Exchange, SQL, Oracle
• Experience with data management, data protection, and data analytics
• Extensive experience with data center operations, business continuity, and operating systems
• Demonstrated success managing multiple simultaneous projects and accounts
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies, capabilities, and protocols
• Business proficiency in both French and English

Location: Remote in France (work from home combined with face-to-face customer visits). Candidates must be permanently located in France.
