Senior Medical Content Manager (x/f/m)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential healthtech organization seeking a Senior Medical Content Manager to join their patient-focused content team in Berlin. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing health content within a digital health platform, ensuring the highest quality standards throughout the production process.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining an editorial calendar for German-language health content, identifying content opportunities based on patient needs and public health priorities
• Writing and creating accessible medical content for patients, translating complex medical information into clear, actionable articles for German-speaking audiences
• Managing the complete content workflow from conception through publication, coordinating internal and external content writers to ensure timely delivery
• Administering content and editorial calendars through a CMS, driving optimization of content processes through automation and AI integration
• Ensuring all content meets the highest standards for accuracy, clarity, and healthcare compliance by coordinating rigorous review processes with medical reviewers and subject matter experts
• Contributing to the development of a network of credible partners including institutions, experts, and medical societies to strengthen content authority

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Degree in Communications, Journalism, or Life Sciences (Biomedicine, Public Health, or similar field)
• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in medical content writing, health communication, or related fields
• Experience managing digital campaigns and working with CMS systems
• Strong project management background with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
• Outstanding written communication skills in German and very good English proficiency

Preferred qualifications:

• Curiosity and interest in multi-format storytelling including video and interactive content—practical experience is a plus but not required
• Strong analytical skills and experience with performance measurement tools
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to navigate a dynamic, cross-functional environment
