Fullstack Software Engineer (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential industrial automation client seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer for their Munich location. Our client combines decades of engineering expertise with modern AI and simulation technologies to develop next-generation manufacturing solutions. This role offers the ideal balance of remote work flexibility with occasional office presence (approximately once per week in Munich).

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and continuous improvement of internal applications for process digitization and automation
• Build and maintain React-based frontend applications that communicate via REST APIs with Django backends and microservices
• Work within a container-based architecture that includes AI/ML modules and automated physics simulations
• Participate throughout the full development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation to delivery
• Collaborate closely with various departments in a dynamic environment to understand and implement user requirements

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in a STEM field or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in software/web development
• Strong proficiency in Python/Django (or other ORM tools or solid SQL experience)
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/React (or similar frontend frameworks)
• Fluent German (minimum C1 level) and English language skills
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills and assertiveness
• Structured work approach with high degree of initiative
• Desirable: Docker experience and ERP system knowledge

Location & Work Arrangement
