Electronics Industrialization Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential industrial technology organization with a strong presence in France and across Europe. Our talent team is seeking an experienced Electronics Industrialization Engineer to join their Lyon operations. This role bridges R&D and production, ensuring new electronic products transition smoothly from design to manufacturing.

You'll coordinate between design, production, quality, and procurement teams while managing relationships with external manufacturing partners. The position includes responsibility for manufacturing documentation, process validation, and coordinating final assembly operations at an international production facility.

Responsibilities

• Participate in product design phases to identify and integrate manufacturing constraints early
• Define and validate manufacturing processes including assembly, testing, and quality control procedures
• Maintain current manufacturing documentation such as BOMs, routings, and standard operating procedures
• Coordinate technical interactions between R&D, production, quality assurance, and procurement functions
• Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during production runs
• Monitor external manufacturing partner performance regarding capacity, quality, cost, and delivery metrics
• Define and coordinate implementation of assembly and testing phases at the Prague production unit
• Manage order flow between production sites based on annual sales forecasts
• Lead prototyping, pre-series, and production ramp-up phases for new product introductions

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics design or manufacturing environments
• Degree in Electronics Engineering
• Proven experience as an Industrialization Engineer, Methods Engineer, or Industrial Transfer Manager
• Track record managing technical projects including planning, coordination, and reporting
• Ability to create clear, structured technical documentation
• Strong knowledge of electronics including schematics, components, and industry standards (CE, RoHS, IPC)
• Solid understanding of industrial processes: PCB assembly, testing, quality control, and traceability
• Proficiency reading technical documentation including BOMs, mechanical drawings, and manufacturing files
• Experience with CAD tools such as Altium, Eagle, SolidWorks, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of automation and testing including test benches, microcontroller programming, and validation scripts
• Fluent in both French and English
