The Opportunity

We're looking for a dedicated Team Captain to drive success at the front end of our North Olmsted store. In this full-time leadership role, you'll oversee daily operations, mentor your team, and champion our Endzone and Loyalty initiatives to build lasting customer relationships. What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise front-end team members, ensuring consistent service quality and efficient checkout operations
• Drive Dick's Loyalty program awareness and enrollment among customers
• Manage Endzone department activities, merchandising, and customer engagement
• Monitor performance metrics, transaction accuracy, and team productivity
• Train and develop team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Support inventory accuracy and loss prevention initiatives
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and care

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail, customer service, or team leadership
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead teams in a high-volume retail environment
• Cash handling and point-of-sale experience preferred
• Knowledge of and passion for sports and sporting goods
• Flexible availability, including weekends and retail operating hours
