System & Network Administrator (Level-I)

Prime System Solutions seeks a dedicated System & Network Administrator (Level-I) to join our growing team in Lahore, Pakistan. In this full-time, on-site role, you'll support the deployment, configuration, and day-to-day operation of our IT infrastructure, working closely with senior administrators to ensure seamless business continuity.

About the Role

As a Level-I System & Network Administrator, you will be the technical backbone supporting our internal and client-facing systems. You'll manage routine infrastructure tasks, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and assist in maintaining both our physical and virtual environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional eager to develop deep expertise in systems administration and enterprise networking.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and network devices across the organisation
• Monitor system performance, disk space, and resource utilisation; escalate critical issues to senior staff
• Provide first and second-level technical support to end users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity problems
• Assist with installation and patching of operating systems and applications; document changes and maintain version control
• Support backup and recovery procedures; verify integrity of backup data and assist with disaster recovery drills
• Maintain network infrastructure components including switches, routers, and firewalls under senior guidance
• Update and maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
• Help onboard new team members and ensure their systems and access are properly provisioned

Who We're Looking For

• Qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong foundation in Windows and/or Linux server administration
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Familiarity with virtualisation platforms, storage systems, or cloud infrastructure
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work methodically, document procedures clearly, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
• Willingness to learn continuously and pursue industry certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent)
