Strategy Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential marketing agency in Berlin seeking a Strategy Manager to lead client campaigns and accounts independently. In this role, you will serve as the primary strategic partner for assigned accounts, translating data insights and cultural trends into sharp communication strategies and compelling storytelling.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Developing strategic positioning, target audience definitions, and comprehensive communication strategies for client brands
• Conceiving and developing forward-thinking creative concepts independently
• Providing holistic 360° consulting to your assigned accounts
• Conducting thorough market and audience research, as well as desk audits
• Coordinating projects in close collaboration with analysts
• Creating clearly structured, persuasive presentations and audits
• Presenting strategies confidently in client calls and pitch meetings as the primary client contact

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate brings strategic expertise and client-facing confidence:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in strategy, preferably within an agency or consulting environment
• Account leadership capability: proven ability to independently manage small to medium-sized accounts strategically
• Client management skills: experience as primary client contact, building sustainable relationships with brand and stakeholder leads
• Analytical and creative abilities: strong research, synthesis, and storytelling skills; talent for identifying trends and decoding cultural phenomena
• Communication excellence: structured, clear, and confident communicator with both internal teams and clients
• Language proficiency: German and English at C1 level minimum
• Soft skills: collaborative mindset, ability to prioritize under pressure, high resilience, and proactive communication style
