Social Media Strategist (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential social media agency seeking a Social Media Strategist to lead client accounts independently. In this role, you will be the strategic architect behind campaigns and the primary trusted partner for assigned clients.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Developing strategic positioning, target audience definitions, and comprehensive communication strategies for client accounts
• Concepting and creating forward-thinking creative strategies independently
• Providing holistic 360° consultation for assigned accounts across all social media touchpoints
• Conducting thorough market and audience research, as well as desk audits
• Coordinating projects in close collaboration with analysts and cross-functional teams
• Creating clearly structured, persuasive slide decks and audit reports
• Presenting strategies and insights confidently in client calls and pitch meetings to all stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in strategy, ideally within an agency or consultancy environment
• Account leadership: Proven ability to lead small to medium-sized accounts completely independently from a strategic standpoint
• Client management: Experience serving as the primary point of contact for clients and building sustainable relationships with brand and stakeholder leads
• Analytical and creative skills: Strong capabilities in research, synthesis, and storytelling; excellent at identifying trends and decoding cultural phenomena
• Communication: Structured, clear, and confident communicator both within teams and with clients
• Language skills: German and English proficiency at C1 level minimum
• Soft skills: Collaborative mindset, ability to set clear priorities under pressure, high resilience, and proactive communication style
