Brand Strategist (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential marketing agency seeking a Brand Strategist to lead client accounts and develop cutting-edge communication strategies. In this role, you will be the strategic lead behind campaigns and the primary trusted partner for assigned clients, managing their accounts completely independently.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Developing strategic brand positioning, target audience definitions, and comprehensive communication strategies
• Concepting and developing forward-thinking strategies and creative concepts independently
• Providing holistic 360° consulting for your assigned accounts
• Conducting in-depth market and audience research, as well as desk audits
• Coordinating projects in close collaboration with analysts
• Creating clearly structured, compelling slide decks and audit presentations
• Presenting your strategies and findings confidently in client calls and pitch meetings
• Identifying cultural trends before they reach the mainstream and translating complex insights into sharp communication strategies and compelling storytelling

What We're Looking For

Our client needs a strategist who can read between the lines of data and spot cultural phenomena early. The ideal candidate brings:

• 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in strategy (e.g., agency or consulting environment)
• Proven ability to lead small to medium-sized accounts independently with full strategic responsibility
• Experience as primary client contact, building sustainable relationships with brand and stakeholder leads
• Strong analytical and creative skills in research, synthesis, and storytelling
• Excellence in trend spotting and cultural decoding
• Structured, clear, and confident communication skills with both teams and clients
• German and English language proficiency at minimum C1 level
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to set clear priorities under pressure
• High resilience and proactive communication style

Location: Berlin with hybrid work flexibility and workation options
