About the Role

As a Stillhouse Operator II at Biourja Renewables, you'll operate, monitor, and maintain the distillation systems that are core to our ethanol production process. This is a hands-on, full-time position that demands precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of fermentation and separation technologies. You'll work as part of a dedicated team responsible for ensuring consistent product quality and optimizing production efficiency across one of the largest industrial alcohol facilities in the United States.

Core Duties

• Operate and monitor stillhouse and distillation equipment according to established operating procedures
• Track process parameters, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates to maintain optimal production conditions
• Collect and test product samples to verify quality specifications and regulatory compliance
• Document production data, equipment status, and operational metrics with precision
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to report equipment issues and support preventive maintenance efforts
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and product yield
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience operating industrial production equipment or working in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work shift schedules and adapt to production demands
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
