About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential online gaming organization seeking a full-stack engineering intern to build a comprehensive compliance and rule-control engine for their entire infrastructure. This is a strategic project to move beyond catalog-based compliance checks toward a unified, automated platform that monitors code repositories, cloud resources, and operational metrics across the organization.

This Master 2-level internship (full-time, Paris-based) offers the chance to architect and deliver a production system from the ground up, with a strong possibility of conversion to permanent employment upon successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Design the architecture of a modular rules engine supporting dynamic control creation, "checks as code," and advanced test execution
• Develop the data collection layer and the rule-evaluation engine that operates on aggregated infrastructure data
• Build a centralized platform enabling each engineering team to define custom standards and visualize compliance results in real time
• Implement automated remediation workflows, including pull-request generation for non-compliant resources
• Optionally extend the platform with migration-tracking tools (workflows, version management) and automated service upgrade orchestration

What We're Looking For

• Enrolled in a Master 2 program (final-year graduate student) in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js
• Familiarity with Backstage or similar developer portals
• Understanding of distributed architectures, high-availability systems, and cloud infrastructure
• Ability to design modular, extensible software from first principles
• Fluency in French and professional proficiency in English
• Authorized to complete a full-time internship in France

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €30,000 per year (internship rate). Conversion to permanent employment with competitive full-time compensation is available upon successful completion of the internship.
