Stage Data Analyst – Paris (H/F/X)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential data consultancy seeking a Data Analyst Intern to join their Paris team. As an intern, you will be integrated into a team working closely with consultants and data scientists, participating in client-facing projects with real business impact. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collecting, cleaning, and preparing data from diverse sources including internal databases, APIs, and logs
• Exploring and analyzing datasets to identify trends, anomalies, correlations, and useful patterns
• Participating in the design and creation of dashboards and reports using data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or internal platforms to present results to teams and clients
• Contributing to the definition of relevant KPIs aligned with business objectives
• Collaborating with business teams (marketing, product, etc.) to understand their needs and transform requirements into actionable analyses
• Assisting in automating certain reporting processes or simple analyses
• Documenting your work, sharing results and learnings within the team, and proposing improvements or new approaches when possible

What We're Looking For

Education and Timing:

• Final-year engineering student, Master 2, or equivalent with specialization in Data, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
• Seeking an end-of-studies internship starting January 2027

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
• Knowledge of programming languages for data analysis, typically Python (with pandas, numpy, etc.)
• Good understanding of basic statistical principles (averages, distributions, tests, correlations, variance, etc.)
• Ability to create visualizations and dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI, or equivalent tools
• Minimal knowledge of the digital and data ecosystem (web analytics, data lakes, data visualization, etc.) is a plus

Personal Skills:

• Logical and analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills (oral and written): ability to explain results to non-experts
• Team collaboration abilities, listening skills, and understanding of business needs
• Proactivity, curiosity, and capacity to propose new ideas or approaches
• Autonomy while being comfortable with supervision and feedback
• Strong French language skills (oral and written); professional English is a plus for exchanges and documentation

This is a 6-month internship based in Paris (9th arrondissement) with the possibility of permanent employment (CDI) upon successful completion. The role includes mentorship by an experienced tutor, opportunities to work with recognized teams, and access to internal training programs and skill development tools.
