About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer (Platform) to join their fully remote team across Europe or the USA. Our client is a high-growth company in the digital finance space with millions of active users globally. This is a technical leadership role where you'll own the infrastructure that powers their development lifecycle, from build to release.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve CI/CD infrastructure using GitHub Actions and Kubernetes, focusing on reliability, scalability, and developer velocity
- Automate mobile release workflows including building, signing, and distributing binaries across iOS, Android, and Chrome platforms
- Manage app store submission processes and release automation end-to-end
- Oversee and improve automated end-to-end testing with Maestro and Playwright across mobile and web environments
- Optimize pipeline performance, reliability, and observability to enable rapid, high-confidence releases
- Partner with engineering teams on developer experience improvements, including preview environments and tooling solutions
- Ensure build, release, and deployment systems meet security and compliance standards appropriate for financial products
- Set technical standards and drive improvements across build, test, release, and deployment workflows
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, Systems Engineering, or related roles, with demonstrated senior or staff-level impact
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
- Deep expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi
- Proven experience supporting CI/CD and release infrastructure for production mobile applications on iOS and Android
- Background working in financial services, fintech, or environments with meaningful security and compliance requirements
- Track record of improving developer workflows and collaborating effectively across engineering teams
- Nice-to-have: Experience with React Native and/or Expo, mobile preview environments, or Appetize
- Nice-to-have: Blockchain or crypto industry experience
