Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential client in the electronic security sector. This organization is an established European manufacturer seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to develop their presence across Toscana, Umbria, and Marche regions in Italy.
We're looking for a sales professional with deep knowledge of the security technology industry who can identify new business opportunities, build partner networks, and drive regional growth. You'll work autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive security solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan for the assigned Italian regions, aligned with company objectives and market trends
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new distributors and partners across Toscana, Umbria, and Marche, ensuring strong market coverage
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with growth strategy
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders at executive level
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the electronic security sector
- Analyze market data to develop and execute effective sales strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of products and services
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients and partners
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with distributors and partners
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in the electronic security industry or similar sector
- Proven sales experience specifically in the Toscana, Umbria, and Marche regions
- Strong technical knowledge of electronic security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, or fire alarm systems
- Demonstrated track record managing the entire sales process: identifying opportunities, developing proposals, negotiating, and closing deals
- Experience developing and implementing successful sales strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers, partners, and industry experts at executive level
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, identify customer needs, and develop effective solutions
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of current technologies and trends in electronic security, such as cloud-based solutions, IoT, and AI-based analytics
- A strong combination of technical expertise, sales acumen, and communication abilities
