About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization in their search for a Customer Service Representative. Our client is transforming how consumers interact with insurance products through technology and superior design. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on customer satisfaction while working with a growing company in the insurance technology space.

This is a remote position available to candidates located in: AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, MA, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, TN, TX, UT, VA, or VT.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and resolve customer issues including coverage challenges, complaints, and payment concerns through incoming calls, ensuring timely and effective solutions
  • Coordinate onboarding documents and insurance policies needed for sale finalization to ensure smooth customer experiences
  • Navigate complex insurance situations using problem-solving skills and industry knowledge to deliver optimal outcomes
  • Verify customer coverage accuracy and deliver proof of insurance paperwork while resolving billing and general issues
  • Contribute to process development for customer onboarding and retention, providing feedback for continuous improvement
  • Resolve carrier and customer complaints by presenting solutions within established timeframes and following up to ensure complete resolution
  • Access carrier portals to pull client lists and initiate proactive follow-ups, ensuring no customer is overlooked
  • Educate customers on avoiding policy interruptions and premium increases to help maintain stable, affordable coverage

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in customer support via phone, email, and chat
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding phone presence and customer service abilities
  • Well-organized with strong self-motivation
  • Property & Casualty Insurance license required
  • Bilingual candidates are a plus
  • Must be located in one of the eligible states listed above

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $40,000–$53,000 based on experience, skills, and location. Our client also offers health and dental coverage, 401K with match, and paid family leave.
