About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing marketplace platform in a confidential search for a Sr. Manager, Success Operations. Our client connects consumers with service providers at scale across the United States, managing complex supply-demand dynamics in a high-velocity environment.

This role sits at the center of operational strategy for the Success organization. You will own the systems, processes, and teams that power frontline operations—from partnership launches and manual fulfillment to supply health management and cross-functional experimentation. You'll build structure in ambiguous, entrepreneurial conditions, deciding where to automate and where humans add the most value. This is not about optimizing a steady-state program; it's about standing up new capabilities from scratch and scaling them quickly.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy, tooling, and outcome targets for operations supporting partner launches, supply readiness, manual fulfillment, and the experimentation engine across Success functions
• Act as the primary liaison between Commercial Operations and Partnerships, translating partner commitments and volume spikes into staffed, tooled, and supply-ready execution plans
• Lead cross-functional execution with Success, Partnerships, Product, Data Science, and Finance teams, resolving dependencies and adjusting priorities as marketplace conditions shift
• Manage the supply health model and dashboard, directing acquisition, reactivation, pricing adjustments, and job-fit optimization while providing leadership with visibility into coverage and gaps
• Own headcount forecasting, capacity planning, business reviews, and executive reporting that connect operational signals to staffing needs and strategic decisions
• Set the test-and-learn agenda for fulfillment approaches, go-to-market motions, AI-enabled workflows, and automation—determining when to pilot manually versus when to build scalable infrastructure
• Build and lead a high-performing team of senior analysts through strategic hiring, coaching, performance management, and role design

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years in Customer Success Operations, Marketplace Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, or comparable roles, including experience managing senior individual contributors
• Background blending strategic thinking with hands-on execution (e.g., strategy consulting, management consulting, GM roles, or founder experience) and a proven ability to break down ambiguous, high-complexity challenges into executable plans
• Experience in a two-sided marketplace, gig economy platform, or fast-moving consumer/SMB ecosystem—ideally one that required balancing supply and demand or managing supply constraints
• Track record of launching new operational motions under tight timelines, shipping imperfect solutions quickly, and iterating rather than waiting for perfect systems
• Quantitative fluency: comfortable with coverage ratios, propensity models, probability-based frameworks—able to direct technical work and validate outputs independently
• Hands-on experience deploying AI-enabled workflows or automation in an operations context, including the judgment to recognize when automation is not the right solution
• Strong executive presence with a history of influencing senior stakeholders through data and reasoning rather than positional authority

Pay via Get A Job.ai varies by candidate location within the United States. For candidates in San Francisco Bay Area, San Jose, New York City, or Seattle metros: $190,400–$246,400. For candidates in Austin TX, Washington DC metros, or residing in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or Washington state: $171,700–$222,200. For all other US locations: $161,500–$209,000. Final compensation is determined by calibrated job level, qualifications, skills, competencies, and role proficiency.
