Core Duties

• Create detailed designs for industrial control systems that incorporate PLCs, SCADA software, and operator interfaces
• Develop, test, and commission logic and visualization configurations that meet process and safety specifications
• Investigate and correct complex control and instrumentation problems to minimize downtime
• Produce accurate engineering packages including drawings, functional specifications, and test procedures
• Guide system upgrades and migrations while maintaining production continuity
• Review and enforce relevant codes, standards, and best practices throughout project delivery
• Share technical knowledge and coach less experienced team members on control system methods
• Partner with operations, maintenance, and project groups to align automation deliverables with broader goals

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, control systems, or an equivalent discipline
• Solid background performing senior-level control systems engineering work in industrial settings
• Hands-on skill programming common PLC platforms and building SCADA or HMI applications
• Working knowledge of industrial networks, sensors, actuators, and process control theory
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose multi-layered system issues and implement lasting fixes
• Clear written and verbal communication for coordinating with multi-discipline groups
• Self-directed approach to project ownership combined with openness to feedback and collaboration
