Sr AI Engineer I – Global Commercial Services

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join their global commercial technology team. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building and evolving production-grade agentic AI systems that power intelligent customer and enterprise experiences.

You will work closely with senior engineers, architects, product teams, UX designers, data scientists, and engineering teams to design, implement, and operate scalable, reliable, and secure AI solutions. This position combines strong software engineering fundamentals with cutting-edge AI application development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade agentic AI systems for customer and enterprise applications
• Build scalable, reliable, and secure AI-powered solutions that integrate with existing enterprise systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, UX, data science, and engineering to deliver intelligent experiences
• Implement and maintain AI systems with strong focus on performance, security, and operational excellence
• Participate in architectural decisions and technical design reviews for AI solutions
• Ensure AI systems meet enterprise standards for reliability, scalability, and security

What We're Looking For

• Senior-level software engineering experience with production systems
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications and agentic AI systems
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including system design, algorithms, and data structures
• Experience with modern AI/ML frameworks and technologies
• Proven track record of shipping production-grade AI solutions
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems
• Knowledge of security best practices for AI systems
