Software Engineer, Platform – Paris, France

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential text-to-speech technology company seeking a Software Engineer, Platform in Paris, France. In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public text-to-speech APIs and internal services for payment processing, subscription management, authentication, and consumption tracking
• Oversee the full backend API landscape, continuously enhancing and optimizing for performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Collaborate on B2B solutions with a focus on customization and integration requirements for enterprise clients
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with overall product strategy and user experience goals
• Prioritize tasks effectively based on urgency and business impact in a fast-paced environment

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript and Node.js (required)
• Direct hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other major cloud providers
• Strong ability to move quickly from ideation to implementation while maintaining code quality
• Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Preferred: Proficiency in deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully distributed, asynchronous environment
• Strategic thinking with a passion for making product decisions that enhance user experience

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €30,000–€100,000 per year (plus bonus and equity, depending on experience). The original salary range was stated in USD; this euro equivalent reflects current conversion rates and the Paris location.
