About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology services organization seeking a Senior Software Developer Engineer in Mexico. Our talent team is looking for an experienced engineer with strong technical fundamentals and a track record of building scalable solutions. This is a full-time opportunity to work on internal product development and contribute to innovative platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop new features for internal products and provide ongoing technical support
- Conduct product demonstrations and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Design and implement well-architected solutions using object-oriented programming principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment
- Write clean, maintainable code following design patterns and best practices
- Participate in code reviews and maintain version control standards
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages
- Solid understanding of algorithms and design patterns
- SQL experience with MySQL, MSSQL, or Oracle DB
- Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
- Web services development experience (REST or SOAP)
- Proficiency with source code management systems (Git, SVN, CVS, RTC)
- Experience with JUnit or other testing frameworks
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English
- Driven, accountable, and demonstrates ownership with strong leadership abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with message brokers such as ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ
- Familiarity with Jira and Bitbucket
- Knowledge of observability tools including OpenTelemetry, AWS X-Ray, Datadog APM, or New Relic
- AWS cloud platform experience
